Whip My Hair - James Vincent McMorrow

I know I recently posted a list of my favorite covers of 2011 but… add this to the list. It’s so different from the original (…obviously) but I think I like it because it’s just so confusing. It’s a beautiful (albeit random) cover of Willow Smith’s neck-cramping song, but when he sings, “Whip it real good” at 1:12, I just died laughing. 

“Hop up out the bed, turn my swag on / Pay no attention to them haters ‘cause we whip ‘em off”

Unsuccessfully sorting out my feelings about this.
